You know Richard, I think I said this in a previous comment, but in a site with so much razzle dazzle, and high contrasts and effects (of which I'm as guilty as anyone), you remain one of the truest and most genuine artists we have. And with RR's hugely diminished photography gallery, coming to your photos is a breath of wonderful and high-integrity air.
This is another of your typical western landscapes---so much detail, but filled with the softness of atmosphere. It's as if film never left you. (It's the softness so often found in the best film shots.) And your composition is also so typical of you: mostly sky (and a dramatic one at that), with those beautiful formations on the ground. They hold their own against the huge expanse of clouds.....A big bold sweeping shot, yet it's gentle. A combination you give us many times...
