Paranormal investigation is an odd hobby I must admit as for the third night in a row I was standing in an old house that looks like it should have a starring role in a horror movie. The atmosphere in it had me feeling a bit, _strange_. Anyway, I tried to avoid the attic. For some reason the thought of it always creeped me out. Well I'd been hearing noises up there for all three nights now, which is unnerving, as I was the only one in the house. I had reluctantly decided I was going to take a photo through the access hatch to try and find out what was up there. So I grabbed my camera, which happened to be an old point and shoot which was loaded with some black and white film (less easy to manipulate than a digital file), and knowing it would be dark up there, turned the flash on. Standing on a stepladder, I heard some footsteps and opened the hatch enough to put my camera through and fired off a frame. I heard a strange growl and hastily shut the hatch and re-bolted it shut. I left the house and made a beeline for home to calm down and try to wind down to get some much needed sleep. The next day I went to my darkroom and processed the film, not knowing what I might see. Most of the frames had nothing out of the ordinary in. The attached picture is the developed photo from that frame taken in the attic. I can't explain it.
