A yearning, other-worldly gaze, into a world that must hold deep meaning for her. Perhaps a world she wants to be in. The colors of her gown are a beautiful combination of olive, a metallic blue, beautiful caramel colored sleeves, a gold-orange sash, etc. With delicate flowers in her hair. It's a scene from previous centuries, your prompts must have mentioned a previous time, and the simplicity lets her mood dominate. The window creates intimacy because of the clouded glass (and pattern in it). Very delicate and poignant.
I've been waiting to comment for your artist of the month award, until the interview was posted. (That's usually where people comment.) But I'll comment here for now, since the holiday is fast approaching...congratulations, you create very sensitive, poignant, wonderfully colored and joyous images (along with some longing ones, like this one), and you deserve the recognition you've gotten. I hope it brings more people to your work, and encourages you to do much more.

Wow, what a nice comment. I love what I am doing and that others like it too is such a rush. I think the prompt for this image might have mentioned Baroque but not sure. I don't keep prompts as I want each to be its own, though I suppose I tend to use the same or similiar words a lot as that is what I like. :-) Again, thanks. Lyla
