Hi, from South Texas.
I like to swim, play cards and play on this computer with all sorts of programs. I am also an avid reader, mostly fiction.
I am glad you stopped by.....hope you will take time to look at my gallery. As a side note, I am honored to have been chosen as Artist of the Month for December 2022. Thanks to all that voted.

Wimoweh! They sleep all the time because the lionesses do the bulk of the work, lol

outstanding background and lions

ooh, I like all 3!
The first one has an almost ceramic quality, the light and hues are so pure and unblemished. (And a noble resting pose.) The second one---I love how it's posed partly out of frame, where part of its majestic mane is cut off by the right frame of the image, as if we're peeking in on a private moment...And in the 3d, the lion's in deep rest in a bed of rich leaves, etc. The greens here are quite lush. This reminds me a bit of the art of Henri Rousseau, whose jungle paintings have similar qualities. And I remember that song! My sister and her friends played it all the time (and it was on the radio 24/7) (I was a budding musician---classical and jazz---and I usually fought with my sister over who got rights to the record player---and she played this, elvis, elvis, elvis and a lot of others. But this number mesmerized everyone in our home incl me. A great memory!) Congratulations once more on your artist of the month!
