Description

(like cleaning out one's closets...) Just going through old images, and here are 2 that are totally unrelated! The first one's "night spirits", and the other's another of my whacko Chicago skylines. I have tons of these in my folders, and every so often they need air...doing them was always 1) fun, and 2) to learn light, hue, balance, 'burst' and so on. From 6, 7 years ago... Well I'm breaking all records lol: I now am getting about 4 comments per image! I know I'm gone as much as here, and when I'm here it takes several days to get to everyone, so I understand. But I do leave long comments if it's any consolation...A couple of offline friends said they didn't get some of my ebots, and others of course are dealing with health, home issues, loved-ones, and the holidays. I just feel like jumping into the comment boxes and saying, "come on in! have a drink, some food; I mean, it's a small group: Why be formal?" Thank you greatly for your visits, large and small! I'm always extremely grateful for all of you. Take care, and have a fine pre-holiday week, m (I'll be absent a couple of days for physical therapy...but I'll be back after that) ------------------

Oh, man...... I know how you feel, Mark - about those folders, I mean. I dug out several old external USB drives during this 'move upstairs' project, and there's soooooo much stuff (mostly 3D / CG) that I forgot I had. I'm like a 10-year-old at Christmas!

These are both wonderful - your sense of color and movement is second to none - but that one of Chicago..... WOW! That needs to be on a really big wall! (Maybe you can get that Donald guy to build a nice big wall for you - he's pretty good at that... LOL) I might even try to talk you into letting me use it for a background - it's stunning!

I hope you keep cleaning out those folders, buddy! I'd love to see more like these!

the green image is really interesting with all the light and shadow play going on. the bits of color are fun and add another layer of mystery.... the city is wonderful, like all your city shots. I really like the way the sky swoops down to spread it's magic on the ground. the colors are fairy tale-like especially the sparkly green lights down low.
