including Bodie and Eve. Both came from the city shelter for animals. I was told by an employee that Eve had been there for a long time. she was a terrific dog except for eating wood when she was not happy. Lucky was in a dog house one day and Eve was still playful. anyway Eve came running at full speed and entered the same dog house. Lucky was stuck at the back of the house until I was able to get Eve out.
I enjoy seeing how happy dogs are when they know someone is adopting them. as soon as they go through the front door, they become a different dog

first, you guys got 11 inches of snow in 2010? That's high for Texas! (Hell, that's high for Chicago!)
Wonderful shots of the dogs, and it's great that you get your dogs from shelters, rescuing lost and torn lives. (Abandoned dogs go through stuff a lot of humans wouldn't want to go through.) It's great that you give them a new life. And I'm sure they change once they know they're safe and, above all, loved. A wonderful story, and very sweet pictures. If it's their first taste of snow, they must've been shocked. Dogs go nuts in snow!

my former dog "Penny" ran and ran in her first snow.
several years ago there was a beautiful female German Shepherd that came up to me. I could tell that she was sick. I gave her food and water. when the dog catcher came she was already defending my home. when the lady got out of vehicle, she started growling. I had no idea what her sickness was and did not want my dogs to get sick also. The shelter would help her

A wonderful shot here, Richard - and such a delightful story about your doggie kids! Bodie's looking good (He looks like he's wondering "What IS this stuff?). Eve looks like she's enjoying herself too!

Love these pics except for the snow...we got about 4" day before yesterday and I hoped for more so the realtors would stay away but we are down to about 2" compacted now and yesterday as soon as the roads were clear here they came without even calling first...so sick of these rude people and my landlord too! Lovely captures and sweet story...lol at Eve! and poor lucky:-)
