BIO
This site is a collaboration between myself and Alexander Graham. Alex is someone who answered my call from a place, though far away, so close to my heart, and we work together towards the same goals with a shared vision of a better world, not just for a chosen few, but for everyone, everywhere. And we work for an understanding that there are other points of view and other opinions, and that open debate, along with all the other principles America was founded on, is what turns that diversity of perspective and prejudice into a strength instead of a weakness. That is what our work is devoted to: a better world for our children's children's children.Thank you for taking the time to visit.. Alexander and Lynn

Happy Christmas & good luck with the move.
I can see why you thought of Oh Holy Night.

I'm pretty sure I know this, it looks very familiar. I love how it's made with nothing but lines, which repeat throughout space like echoes or vibrations of the holy. (Medhi mirror? There's a name I don't know!) The white space in it is like spirit personified, incl that white band down the middle. A beautiful spirit-piece that could serve any faith, or none, and made of calligraphic lines repeating through space. You even put stars in the caption...beautifully done, Lynn.
Thank you so much for your recent comments. I had no idea my avatar---that ever-seen brush---drew you to my gallery! I drew it before the Civil War, and I always saw it as a kind of "child" of mine. But I didn't know it had any pull for anyone else! Thank you for that, and everything else. I wish you all the very best in your difficult decisions ahead, and I hope light shines on you always...

I'm not sure if I've mentioned it before but I hear choir singing sometimes when I'm falling asleep, sometimes I think I've left the radio on, but there's nothing there :-)
This artwork reminds me of that memory. Beautifuly done my friend. I hope you've had some good news :-)

Thank you my special friend, I have hymns that constantly go thru my mind...I couldn't listen to my Christmas music this year because my speakers died! My favorite 'Mary Did You Know' by Kenny Rogers...and 'Oh Holy Night' has been running thru my mind for days...I'm glad it gave you some cool memories:-) Your Fae reminded me of something that I will tell you later...having trouble with domestic stuff right now...
