Hubby, kids and I have called the Jersey Shore home for 36 years, but we'll be moving within the next year to the Gatlinburg, TN area. I've heard from others who did the same and then moved back because they so missed the ocean. Hubby and I are more 'pool' people than ocean and both grew up with farms and/or mountains so it should be an easier transition. Well, we hope, anyway. :)  I recently put my writing career on hold, discovered Poser, and with it, a love of creating digital art.  Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of several incredibly talented artists I didn't let my introduction to Poser overwhelm me (though I nearly did). The world of digital creativity is an awesome place and I'm so glad I found it. Great render! unfortunately, it shows the reality of a lot poor families.

Thank you, wfbp1w. It's wonderful that people are moved to help the poor at Thanksgiving and Christmas but it's an ongoing year long problem. These circumstances shouldn't be happening.

This is a beautifully done, but heartbreaking scene - that is far too common. In a "developed" nation there is absolutely no excuse for people to have to live like this. None. It says volumes about the state of affairs in this country. And the inequities.
Well done!

Thank you so much, RodS. I completely agree with you and it's surprising how many people think the answer is 'just get a job'. Your observation is so right, It is heartbreaking.
PhthaloBlue
Very poignant scene! Captures the sad reality of life for far too many people.
MtnMist
Thank you so much, PhthaloBlue. And all I can think of is the predicted snow and freezing temps. It really is a tragic situation.
Krid
..very impressive and emotional scene (and very sad)
MtnMist
Thank you, Krid. I've seen this play out in real life and on newscasts too many times. It doesn't get easier to see, I can't imagine having to live it.
FurNose
Very well done and a powerful and moving message behind it!
MtnMist
Thank you FurNose. It would be so nice if such a scene was only fiction and not real life. :)

I love this image, I really like its representation of the theme at hand. Amazing work 👍🙋♂️

Thank you, Saby55. If only there was a simple solution instead of political red tape and chest-thumping. :)
