*Sigh...*
I know I keep saying something about "I'll be back in the "next few days / next week / first of the month / last of the month / etc, etc." And every time I do I get slammed by yet another bushel-basket of poo being tossed into the fan - the one pointed directly at my head...
I've just finished recovering all my Poser runtimes and stuff (things I've collected over about 12+ years) that I THOUGHT I lost. Turns out somehow it all got put into a folder I didn't know I created, and stashed away on one of my external drives. I was doing something on-line (paying a bill or something), and apparently accidentally did a multiple key-stroke that caused Windoze to freak out. I think it said something along the lines of "Jeeeeze this Rod dude is such a freaking comedian - wanting me to do something the developers never intended. I'm gonna teach this fool a lesson! I'll hide all his Poser stuff, and enjoy the hell outta watching him wet himself! Hehehehe..." I still don't know exactly what I did.
OK, Windoze... You had your fun, now BEHAVE YERSELF!!
Anyway... I'm in the middle of getting the train-wreck otherwise known as my "file storage and retrieval system" straightened out so it doesn't take me two weeks to find that one blasted file with the .obj I need to complete an image.
Soooo, I guess what I'm trying to say is I'll probably be out until the start of 2023. That's just a week away, but hopefully by then I'll have everything in order, And I can get things rolling again. I hope to have a few other surprises as well.
I'm gonna try and get a Christmas image done in time, but just in case....
May you all - old friends, new friends, new Rendo folks I haven't met yet, have a happy and blessed Holiday however you celebrate, and from wherever on this sad planet you call home. May the new year see peaceful resolution to the many conflicts, and healing to all those in pain, or illness.

Sometimes, you really could think, the computers have a life, a soul and an evil mind and they just want to make our own life miserable!
They behave until they sense, our weakest point in time and then they strike mercyless!
But better your stuff is just strangely moved to a strange folder, than deleted alltoghether.
Anyways, I wish you a merry christmas and a hopefully happyer and better new year, with lots of positiv things to come!

lol...your master detective/justice fighters can't figure out a mouse---I love it! Exactly how I felt when I first picked one up...Rod: I was at the Creation of the Universe, and rust me: When it was over, the big dude in the sky ran around screaming, "where's my hammer! And who messed with my good wrench!!! I can't find a thing...Isaiah: Hey! Isaiah! Where'd I put my SCSI cable??? That's right, I said SCSI---what'm I, up to date??? Where's my "To Do" folder??? (To the cosmos:) ANYONE???" This went on for eons, I was there. (Hey, lookin' around today, I wouldn't be surprised.) My word? You've tackled more than a lifetime-full, illness, tearing into and repairing your home, huge projects w/ pipes, digging up your property (with canals deep enough to reach ancient Babylonia), your wife's covid, louuuuuud neighbors, expenditures galore, huge questions of where to live, how to do it, w/ a world gone nuts....it's completely understandable that that "I'll be back soon" date keeps slipping away from you. No problems, Rod: You leave terrific comments, you've battled for things on the forum, you've campaigned to better the site in all kinds of ways (more than I have, certainly) and you've posted a bunch of stuff of a complexity and invention as big as anyone here. So you got nothin' to apologize for. I just hope that you'll begin to find peace and get close to the move, and feel much better about everything soon.
Re the image, I love that big airy office, all that equipment, and your 3 big cheeses trying to figure out what the hell to do with a mouse (and with all that data...) Love it, perfect image. Take care of yourself, and if, during Christmas supper, a digital folder falls on your head and spreads 2 billion documents all over the dining room, just sit back and enjoy it. What's the law? If things are supposed to go wrong, they will? Right? Murphy's Law? Yeah well, I'll get a-holda Murphy, you can do the screaming...and when you're done, I got some words too. You're a beacon here, Rod, may the world catch up with you soon. Have a wonderful holiday, with total health and peace; my very best to you and Jo. And thanks for all you give here! LOL! Well, Kinnie's a Fae, so she's still trying to sort things out with the 'human' life-forms (and so am I, actually...). All she has to do is wave her hands to make things happen - but she has to understand how they actually work first, or really strange things happen.... 😲

Wow Rod, sure seems like you have a lot going on...its nice to see all the girls are there to help you out! It's very easy to move a whole folder and later think it might have disappeared.., yeah, it's possible.

Love the girls dialogue! Most humorous and a wonderful illustration to boot! I sure can relate to your experiences hitting bad key combinations and sometimes having a mouse backfire when trying to copy files to new folder(s). LOL! I've lost many files that way too and still haven't found them! Guess if I'm still alive, I must not have needed them that badly. To top it off, I am such a hoarder. Can't seem to part with any of the crap that I create! LOL. What can I say. Thank the heavens that storage capabilities have exceeded my ability to create excrement! LOL.
