C’est trop beau, parce que tout fonctionne ou presque, l’enfant que nous voilà redevenu en aurait presque peur que cela soit trop fragile pour ses jeux. À cet instant, il devine qu’il ne pourra jamais posséder la vraie ; qu’importe, ce qui compte, ce sont les moments de qualité que ce modèle réduit va apporter à l’imaginaire de ses jeux. Un jour, cher Alain, tu m’as confié ce que cette passion de l’automobile, et particulièrement la création de ces modèles, apportait d’équilibre dans la construction de ta vraie vie. Te sachant comme moi, passionné d’art, j’ai trouvé admirable, que tu développes ta créativité pour rappeler la beauté du monde (ne serait-ce qu’à travers celle des véhicules) sans jamais oublier combien l’amour de ce qui te touchent a du prix à tes yeux.
