Description
In this spoofer original character Zayne tries to convince Triss Merigold that firearms are the way of the future though he's only heard rumors of her abilities and has no grasp of the extent of her fire magic. Triss on the other hand finds both pirate and weapon intriguing while fighting the urge to incinerate both before they become greater threats.
This composition has lurked in render purgatory for two years or more and I thought I'd finish it by switching the original male character and his weapon to fresher originals and adding a few textures to let it spin. Not up to primetime but I needed to work on something and it was a learning experience in the day that deserved better than ignominious oblivion.
Some of the employed assets, like Riversoft's billboards, I still love today.

If there are any billboards in that scene, it's not apparent. Wonderful and very comprehensive composition!
jdwtrxk
Thanks grafitaleblu - Riversoft makes some good boards :)

Nicely done!

WOW to the lights and composition! And billboards are such life-savers!
jdwtrxk
Thanks hmatienzo - billboards (in this one the serving maid and the man on the left) are easy and effective in staging a scene. A little heavy on storage but easy on runtimes :).

Gorgeous light and scene. Always feels great to finally complete older projects :)

Thanks Steff and yes it does. Sometimes you need to walk away and sometimes you want to walk back :)
