Description
Armarda has a certain history behind it. Well first off it was created way back in March 1997. Using Photoshop 3, when layers has just been thought of. This was the first ever image i created with Photoshop 3 and first background with Bryce3d.
Using Bryce wasnt too bad to get to grips with but Photoshop was a real challenge as i taught myself how to Composite and cut out and all the general Techniques you need to know when using Ps3.
The image was built up using Photos i had taken of a Model Spaceship i had made 8 years earlier while at college. The model was constructed of wood, cardboard, Styrene plastic and plastic parts and wires.
The reason i had made a model ship was because as part of my College course we had to create a project which involved a product. So being a Science Fiction Fan i created this Model which would play a part in a Movie and of course from Movies you get all the Promotional Toys and Figures, kits, t-shirts etc.
So i created a Movie Poster, Artwork for the ship, Artwork for the box of the model Kit and instructions of how to put the kit together aswell. And of course the ship itself which measured some 10" long.
I earned a Merit for my work on this project.
This image came about when i stumbled upon the model in a box and had just got Ps3 and a new computer. So i wanted to see what i could do.
The reason i havnt put this image up until now is i didnt think it was a good as other peoples Artwork i have seen on here. But now i feel my work is upto scratch and i dont mind showing off the old stuff so much.
