Excellent idea. In my opinion the wide angle of a door viewer ought to show a round image. Like in a convex mirror - self portraits by Parmigiano or Escher - or photos made with a fish eye ( around 120° angle ). But I don't know if a 3D software is able to do that. I think that you could try with the reflectivity of the scene in a mirror sphere.

I probably could do it, but it would be too much trouble for the few views I'm gonna get, anyway.
