Great!...My towel/s stuck in the door!
Great!...The door's locked!
Great!...I think there's someone behind me!
"Oh, my! Oh, my! Oh,...my, my, my!
Jaimie tired to cover himself, but there wasn't enough of the towel free to cover what needed to be covered.
And the old woman seemed in intent on taking a full and thorough inventory of all his assets. Right down to the very last mole and pore.
He tried to reach the newspaper with his foot...the thing he came out to get when he wound up in this predication. But he only snagged the front page and merely tore off a piece.
"Mable said this place had a reputation," the old woman finally said when she came up to refill her scuba gear with more air. "Mable always knows!" She leaned in for another long and lingering look that felt far too intimate. And then finally, mercifully, she moved forward and stooped to gather up the newspaper.
Jaimie expected her to hand it to him.
But instead, she unbelievably slipped it in her bag. "This is damaged. You should request another," she told him before continuing down the hallway.
When she came to the stairwell, she paused and looked back. "Same time tomorrow, dear?" she asked cheerfully. "I'll bring Mable. Oh, and perhaps a wash cloth instead of a towel." She pointed at the only part of him she hadn't seen and waved her finger in a circle. "You think about it, dear!"
And then she disappeared into the stairwell.
Jaimie stood with his mouth hanging open in disbelief.
"Oh, my! Oh, my! Oh, my, my my!" the old woman's voice echoed up the stairwell, as her feet clattered down the steps. "Wait till I tell Mable!"
Jaimie shook his head At least someone was having a good time!
Jaimie was also furious. With himself. For being so stupid. He tried to yank the towel out again. He even push on on the door knob with all his weight as though to snap if off. and then in even more frustration, he punched the door. Hard. But the wood was harder. Not only did he hurt his hand, but he lost hold of the free end of the towel too.
As the towel lay in ripples about his feet. He suddenly froze. It couldn't be!
"Oh, my! Oh, my! Oh, my, my, my!

Oh my, indeed! What is a poor boy to do? Never open your door again, wearing just a towel, for starters! And make sure you have your keys with you! And grab the paper before that old biddie gets a chance to steal it! MIO, you continue to enthrall and amaze!

I was remiss in not thanking for such kind words. Thank you much!

What a predicament- heh heh! Well it appears she means no harm, she's just admiring the view and if I were him I'd be rather flattered.

A most serious and seriously funny predicament for your handsome young enthraller! LOL! What a happy episode in his life to contribute to to the delinquency of that dear 'old(?)' senior citizen! Really had to have made her entire week, I'm thinking! A marvelous image and fine work, MIO! Many fine kudos from me! Easily 10 stars out of 5!
