Description
I'm snowshoeing 5 hrs. half mile from my car moving just below the ridge line. Movement catches my eye. It's a large crow riding the updraft from the ridge. Coming fast, it stops above me, doesn't have to flap it's wings, and just hovers watching me. At first it was creepy, it watching me as I watched it. Then it dawned on me it associates food with humans. I complete the half mile. The snow bank is easily twice as high as the car 14 ft high. I love my life

Well it was a very difficult time. Bad. To old to start a new life. So I made the decision to live what is left of my time happy. Sold, gave away, or threw out everything that didn't fit in my little SUV. Drove to Nevada from Massachusetts found a crappy job that pays enough. And I wander the back country every day I don't work. Until the body fails me. ☺️
