It's looks great, that little ray of light really gives a soul to the picture. There may be a way to get more details out of the mountains. Anyone has suggestions for that?

not really sure, but i dont know terragens render will leave alot of very dark details, if you were to do some postwork in photoshop, or Gimp (or anything similar), you could doged the overly dark area.. at this point its like working a good ole fashioned print to get your detail and contrat right. i have bene learning the benefits of doing some 2d postwork to tidy up terragens renders.

Agree, that ray of light is wonderful. Also your coloring and light is very good, the water and the point of view. To get more details out of the mountains? - maybe a few more layers in the texture and some postwork as Rev suggests (eg. sharpen, brightness/contrast ..)
