Mother Sadie and one of her kids.
Kind of looks like she has just the kid something traumatic!
This was before I managed to catch all kitten's in the house at once. At least four year's ago.
Pretty sure I've covered they're story here already.

I watched a you tube video the other day about a mother cat that maybe had her last kitten taken from her. she picked up a stuffed toy and took it to her water. as if she was trying to make the toy drink water.
I never had any luck with cats being inside. they can be very destructive. I never let any dogs stay inside unless they were recovering from surgery. I was playing with a spoiled rotten cat last night. he attacks his old lady owner with no warning on occasion
