I'm just Molly. Mrs. Mike was my ID for many years when I modeled for my deviant husband, Mike B. It was Mike that introduced me to Poser.
I have modeled in real life a bit. My introduction to 3d imaging was through making pictures of my adventures in Second Life and over the10 years I've been learning Poser and making Poser pictures. In real life, I am a near completely retired health care professional and a full time grandma. In my digital life I am a Second Life heroine, a Second Life villainess and here and at Deviant Art I'm a budding 3D artist.
My next big project is to learn Blender.

What a jawdropping atmosphere.

Thank you! The skydome from Flink really sells it, I think. =)

Please allow me to congratulate you on your Sterling effort here. I can see the vessel rolling with the waves and the potential peril that awaits these sailors! Excellent Work!

Oooh! Thank you for so much encouragement! I really appreciate it!

It has been so many decades since I viewed the Disney movie, '20,000 Leagues under the sea', but the submarine ripping the guts out of the old wooden boats was quite a special effects accomplishment, I think, at the time! Many fine praises from me to you on this fine creation, Molly! Bravo to the max!

How funny! I saw that movie when I was a little girl and it made an impression on me, too; enough that I re-watched it a couple of years ago and found that it had held up pretty well. Cybertenko's new Nautilus design differs significantly from that of Disney's "Imagineers" but I thought it came out pretty well here. It's certainly different from Jules Verne's description of Nautilus; the model available here at Renderosity by Michael C is the closest to what Verne described.
Thanks for the fun comment, my dear. I always look forward to hearing from you! =)

Looks like the bad guys picked the wrong folks to pick a fight with.... I can't even remember the last time I watched that movie..
This is really excellent work, Molly!

Thank you for the compliment, Rod! For me, there's never been a better version of Verne's classic work! =) I rather suspect I'm not done fooling around with Cybertenko's Nautilus (or the other versions around here). XD

Great copositionand atmopshere for this scene.
A thought... (assuming you cant use the lovely backdrop as a lightsource - not sure how such things work in poser), a low level high intensity orange spot at the setting sun's location might give you some little highlights on the water and shodws of the rails on the deck of the sub for that final touch?
MollyFootman
That's a great idea, Joe. I COULD crank up the illumination from the background but that tends to cause a loss of color saturation in the rendering and I wanted those colors. On the other hand, an orange light at the sun's location might work really well. I'm going to have to try that the next time I use such a challenging outdoor lighting environment. I appreciate your keen eye and willingness to give me things to try! <3

A well-assembled scene, the light that hits the water jet calls my attention, as an element that connects distant objects, consolidating the feeling of depth in the scene, beautiful. And wow the Flink skydome is breathtaking!
