Description

This is probably the last of the Volumetric worlds images I'll upload. Thought I'd try to post one from each planet. This is from Clouds_over_Canyon by Dmytry Lavrov. I had a lot of difficulties with renders on this planet. Sometimes I got the infamous "An error has occurred while processing..." message and sometimes Mojoworld would just crash to the desktop. This particular render did both and when it did render, it had an odd full length vertical band that had varying brightness and saturation issues. Some of the clouds had weird bands and streaks too. The render time was fairly lengthy, but my patience was not. I finally said the heck with fiddling with it and just fixed stuff in post.

Yep - Volumetrics can be quite the pain. Keep AA levels to '2’. Anything higher looks exactly the same and takes forever to render. Nice job!

The lighting and this pre-storm atmosphere are very dynamic! I also like the strata pattern in the mountain range. Good work!
