Description
Day 7 of my original characters of color for #BlackHistoryMonth Baby Girl is another character that resulted from a commission from a former coworker. Based off a picture of his daughter. In this picture the right side is the original look while the left one is a more updated version with her being slightly older physically. Story wise she has the power to control wind. Considers one of my other characters Princess to be like a big sister and calls her "Prinsis".

While I like both pictures and love the character idea (pretty much all of your characters are enjoyable to teh Mollz) I like the original costume/clothing idea on the right a bit better. Aging the character a tiny bit is fine but I don't think it really made much difference. Thanks for sharing both images it's interesting to see how an artist's ideas change a bit over time. =)

I'm glad you like this character as well as most of the others. The difference between the two versions is subtle but it's easier to see if their standing next to each other. The original outfit is still a cute keeper though. 😊 I literally just did my best to recreate what his daughter was wearing in the original photo. I just created a simple wind logo for shirt texture in Photoshop and applied it. Otherwise, it would have been a Superman chest emblem.
