Description
Troops are heading... I have never used this scene (Northern Extent by First Bastion) before due to its size and my old PC could not deal with it but now I got to see it and play and practice some postworking skills.
This is my only post today as there are 4 images in this little series and I hope you enjoy.
Thanks for dropping by and have a great day :)

Very good, you should animate this.

Thank you and a suggestion certainly worth considering and may well give it a try, Never really done much animation work before, a little in Poser but none in Daz
See you in your gallery :)

You're series of renders look spectacular and so cinematic...they look like cut scenes from a movie. You used some great camera angles on all of them! The comment from "ladylake" above is on point as to where your next challenge lies ahead for you. You many want to start thinking about animating your work since you have so much talent and skill in the way you setup your scenes. You have a director's eye for framing your work.
Start small by animating the camera around your subjects and get comfortable with the camera. 75 percent or more of the animation work happens with just the camera alone. Of course that big Elephant in the room is and always will be...long rendering times, those are often unavoidable, so its best to let the long renders run at night while you sleep. Limit your self to 10 second long animations, since those are often more manageable to do and eventually build those animations up to 20 seconds and eventually 30 seconds long...its time to put that PC of yours to work my friend. :-)

Thanks so much Johnny and I took Ladylake seriously enough to start looking at how to animate in DAZ yesterday so I can use this scene as it is already setup. So looking through some tutorials and playing and hope to create something soon, my system should do it easy enough and thank you for your advice on runtime length as I probably would have tried to render way to long a scene in the first place :)
Not sure about the directors eye or skill...lol Just make my scenes so they look good to my eyes, I figure if it looks good to me then it must be OK and I like to play with camera angles and use them when they work in the scene.
Thanks again and definitely food for thought :) any suggestions on 3rd party programs to postwork any animations I create would be great as well.

Hey this looks epic and foreboding. I wouldn't want to have to sneak on that base for a mission. Great work.

Wow, glad you can make use of the scene now, you came up with some excellent renders with it. My fav angle is on the first one, very dynamic shot

Excellent work! Reminds me to get off my butt and start using all the other assets I have lounging around in my computer. I've been looking into animating as well and the daunting task that it is. As for software to look at using, look into Davinci Resolve. It's free and is really well done. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but a ton of people like it and all the features it has. https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve There is a "studio" version that you can pay for if the free version is not enough. Look forward to seeing what you can accomplish.

Thanks for dropping by and for the tip on Davinci Resolve. I will be installing that today and having a look for sure :)
