Description
The true nymphs of salty waters. The ancient greeks listed thousands of them, they are practically innumerable.Their origin is polyphyletic, so is their appearance. Some seem to show strong adaptations to the living in ever restless oceans. Their eyes reflect the great blue open, or the deep sea.
In contrast to their gentle sisters of the rivers, they are dangerous in different ways. If You see one - time to get out of the waves instantaneously!
And - as always - avoid their eyes!!!
