Description
I have had trouble ordering online because some people do not care whether they selected the size requested or not. a few days ago I ordered a pair of slip on shoes so I would not tying/untying. I requested a men's 9 wide so it would be easier at airports. I was given a 4 day window to get them in the mail. today they still had not came, so I went to the mall store to inquire about them. the young lady picked up a box and said it had been there for several days. she was very nice about it and ordered another pair. on top she gave me a sizeable refund $30.00. when I tried them on, I noticed it was a lady's size 9 and it was was longer than my boots

Too bad about your online experience. I order almost everything (except fresh produce/etc) online and have had hardly any problems. Even did the online ordering from our local stores for groceries and the delivery during covid.

Bummer purchase, but cool shot.

Great capture! I'm sorry to hear about your shoe problem. I never buy shoes or boots online, but only at places where I can try them on first.

Very cool photo of the train.
Sorry to hear about your online shopping experience. I only bought a pair of slip shoes online once from amazon, however they fit me fine. Good luck on returning or exchanging the shoes that don't fit.

at the start of covid, I stopped at a truck stop on Interstate 40 near Arkansas for a bite of food.
I was concerned because I was the only person with a mask. I was afraid that they were
thinking that I was a robber.

I was in a robbery and I want nothing to do with any. There was heavy snow and ice one night. A young guy came in around 3:30 AM and told me that he wanted the money. about that time another customer( a real one) came in. the robber stepped aside until the real customer left. He then was telling me to give him the money, which I did. he asked where is the rest was at. I told him the supervisor had picked the money around 10 PM. I noticed a 1959 Ford had turned the corner. He told me to leave. I thought he was going to kidnap me. I started go north as I lived very close. he told me to go the other direction. I ran on ice/snow for almost 3 blocks without falling. I called the police and told them that the robber was in the Ford. I then started back to the store safely without falling. the next morning the police came to where I was living and asked me identify my wallet at the police station. I walked out of the house and fell on the ice. when one has to do something important like calling the police, there is less chance of falling. if one is still half way asleep? better watch what you are doing. the driver was only 14. he told the police what they wanted to know. the police seen the Ford a mile away from the store, but was not able to turn around on the ice. another police car came and they pretended to give a citation to the robbers. the older teenager got 5 45 year sentences. The police had no idea as who he was, but they knew he had done 3 other robberies and possession of stolen property

This is why I don't like ordering online, you never know what you actually get...nice photo by the way.
And just reading your story in the comments - that must have been a scary experience! I'm glad you got out of it okay and hope you never have to go through anything like that again.
