Description

Hi, i've waited a long time to render Odin. Never without Ravens (ok they were easy to get, Hugin and Munin) but never without Sleipnir! Here we come... Figures: Dain 8, Odins Hear and Beard, Rage Armor from DAZ, Spear Prop and effect, Raven from Renderosity, Daz Horse 3 with Sleipnir Addon Environment: Mountain Lake HDRI, 3 spotlights No Postwork... Super cool render of Odin :-) I think you mentioned one time that you loved Norse mythology and found it the most interesting.

Awesome work on this, Daz horse 3 looks amazing, haven't got it yet, this render makes me want to buy it lol.

Hi, oh yes I very much do. It was clear to me that Odin wouldn't work without Sleipnir :)

Yeah DAZ Horse 3 has a lot of nice details. Whenever I saw the addon for Sleipnir, there was no holding back...

The vendor is Digital Anvil, they also made other wonderful horses (unicorn and a fire horse).

Very cool, and as a fellow affencienado of the Norse, it caught my eye before taking the time to study it further to my later delight. Completely forgot Sleipnir was available despite it's waiting patiently in my wish-list....looks great.

Hi, Norse mythology is one of my favorite subjects. Anyone who has looked into the Edda knows what I mean :)

In fact, it took a long time until I found something that I could talk about about the Vikings. Just like the ravens Hugin and Munin, Sleipnir simply belongs to Odin.

The figure is also relatively new. The protagonist Loki is also very interesting and there are many variations on how he is told.

Most of you probably know him from the Marvel universe, which has only very little to do with actual mythology.
