Description
I did an earlier drawing called "Elephants Graveyard" about a spaceship deathyard on a desolate planet and someone commented on the idea of one in space...so as I was playing with another drawing I decided to use that background ,change the nebula colour and add some spaceship models...what you see is the final rendering..

Actually when you rotate to the overhead view the x-wing is right at the front of the rendering,whereas the larger ships are set way back in the distance so as not to over power the picture and be the central point...the nebula encirles in front of the x-wing and back behind the space background ,this seems to throw the perspective off for some reason?..I was trying to achive a feeling of depth not just width..I'm learning slow but sure.

I like this. About the depth - try using some kind of fog or volumetric cloudy material so the far-off ships look further away... although unless they're IN the nebula, that wouldn't be technically correct :-)
