I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

i wholly get what you mean regarding mucking about in Photoshop - it's kind of a way to infuse more of yourself into the process, in a sense, and then into the end result, or that's how i understand it to be. good to see a new post from you :)

Good on you Rod, keen to see what you have coming

I'm sure it's partly posing as well as the morphs and textures but Iove her snarky expression. As for your thoughts on Postwork, I would agree. The trick is not to do too much; if I'm not careful, my work starts to get kind of cartoonish. That might be the desired endpoint, but usually I'm trying for realistic so I have to "season lightly" to borrow from your simile. =)
As always, thanks for sharing, I enjoyed viewing.

Very nice work as for your thinking of post work I do use it but only if I think that the image needs it not that often. As I work mostly in the world of animation if you have may be anything up 9000 frames you just do not have the time for post work. One that I am working with just now has almost 10,000 frames even a small amount of post work would take just too long

I myself do a little bit of both of postwork and not. All depends on what i think of doing. Some post needed to fix a few things i photoshop or add things and fx work.
Love your close view of this sexy model. I sure need to do my three T.N.A. girls again someday.
Was hoping that smile of hers was looking at me.

She's a star and I am really looking forward to your next chapter Rod. You have an uncanny knack of making them all look so real.

Good Statement brother, we of the old guard have a principle and that is "cobbler stick to your last (soles)". May all these AI graphics look great, but in my eyes they do not reflect the original graphics of the artist who created them. Roughly speaking, I call this "unfair competition" against other artists and all these cute flower power cuties just get on your nerves at 10 a day! End of Ranting! 👍😁

She's great! I tend to do the opposite with a lot of portraits. But trying to even that out a bit. I think whether people do or don't do postwork is fine if it's all their own work. I enjoy seeing both 🖤

Play is the most important and fun/frustration thing to do with these programs but its all fun really at the end of the day.
Beautiful portrait and hope to see what you come up with soon :)
