Description
Mature Mark thinks he recognizes the hitch hiker as he gets closer to the highway
pullout. Yeah! It's one of his fellow models, Barron Jones, from a shoot a year or so
ago. He didn't get very well acquainted with him but he was impressed with the young
man's good manners and general deportment! Mature Mark wonders why he is hitch hiking.
One way to find out.
Mature Mark pulls off the road and walks over to the young man.
'Long time now see, Barron! What prompts you to take a big chance like this on the
open road? Haven't you heard the horror stories of taking such a chance?'
'Well I'll be! Wow, if it isn't my favorite role model, Mark! In my wildest dreams I
never thought I'd encounter you on this trip! I'm a little down on my luck between
jobs and haven't been able to get any kind of work in LA. Thought I'd hitch a ride up
the SF and see if my luck might change there.'
'Well, I'll be happy to get you up there. I'm on my way to a job there myself! I'll
talk to the director and see if I can't line something up for you! You look like you are
keeping yourself in good shape! It shouldn't be difficult to get you something!'
'Thanks so much, Mark. This must be my lucky day!'

That's very good dialog which I certainly appreciate. I love how the car on the road has continued down the road from the last picture; great idea to give a sense of passing moments when you are doing a series of pictures telling a story. Their interaction is visually pleasing and scans very well with the text. Thanks for sharing. This kind of story telling is right in my wheelhouse. XD

Well now that he knows the hitchhiker that is a different story. The only question is how he got out there? Interesting scene and story.
