Description
This originally was the height of the ride - after flowing down the calm water stream, you would hit a hill point where you'd feel your 'log' boat lock onto tracks and you'll be taken upwards, past a mechanical miner who would 'blow up' some dynamite just as you hit the crest at the top and you'd come crashing down the water slide in a big splosh. Your picture would also be taken and if you wanted it you could buy it at the booth outside once you exited the ride.
Today, as you can see, it is no longer filled with water and a lot of this has been ripped out or filled in with dirt. Makes me a bit sad, as I enjoyed the ride a lot as a child.

Great capture and exploration of an abandoned site and yes it is a shame to see places we love as a child become neglected and lost.
Excellent work on this journey :)

Thank you very much! It was certainly a nostalgic journey for me.
