BIO
This site is a collaboration between myself and Alexander Graham. Alex is someone who answered my call from a place, though far away, so close to my heart, and we work together towards the same goals with a shared vision of a better world, not just for a chosen few, but for everyone, everywhere. And we work for an understanding that there are other points of view and other opinions, and that open debate, along with all the other principles America was founded on, is what turns that diversity of perspective and prejudice into a strength instead of a weakness. That is what our work is devoted to: a better world for our children's children's children.Thank you for taking the time to visit.. Alexander and Lynn

I am so sorry about your plight. We too have a lot of homeless even in our small town. Agree re buildings left or pulled down, they could be used for the homeless. Lots of new builds going up here BUT 3/4/5 bedroom houses, maybe a few 1/2 bedroom ones would be better. Take care. xx

In my opinion The system is broken, it stems from the top, the rich get richer the poor get poorer and they dont care. All money.
There are people that do care, few and far between in my opinion who have positions where they can make a difference.
Why not give everyone a house free of charge. A roof over their heads. That would cost to much, that's not possible, we can't do that. Excuses in my opinion.
They can do it, they chose not to. look at the banks making money from these interest rate hikes, 100 million and hour they reckon. Probably going in someone's pocket/bank account and just sitting there. How does that help people? Oh it's for the economy, Bulls#$t. How many houses is that? How many food stamps is that?
I am saddened by your situation and realy do hope something comes along that can realy help you out my friend. Not just you everyone else who needs help.
Okay that's my rant ...

Your protest is quite poignant and legitimate, in a country that often prides itself on being a beacon of the civilized world for all refugees and souls in distress around the world. The old Europe where I reside treats homelessness differently, more humanely perhaps, at times, though there's still so much to do in that regard. Don't give in to destructive thoughts and keep faith in life and yourself, whatever happens....

I'm sorry you have to go through this. Indeed, the situation with housing (or lack there of and high pricing) is completely out of control. A shelter is one of the needs of survival, it should be available for everyone. It's painful, especially when there are viable solutions that this is still happening.
My thoughts are with you, I hope you get a new home soon.
