Description


Standing about 160' tall, this dead pine, as viewed from my bathroom throne, has hosted many passing visitors, including adventurous squirrels, Red Head and Pileated woodpeckers. Perhaps 150 years old, two smaller sister pines have fallen within the past year. Mother Nature rules.....

cool shot. I have dealt with woodpecker damage. they are strong and destructive, but they are pretty birds.
