Description
Having decided aerial reconnaissance is the best course of action, it is a few hours later that finds an airship over Steelhead Bay approaching the stronghold of the reclusive industrialist Baron Mikel Von Reanimeister. The crew includes the Weasel, clank Aerodrome Chief of Darkstar Engineering at the helm; Fat Bob, the foreman of Darkstar Engineering at the steam rail gun; Miss Pannikin the personal assisting clank of Sonja Steelsinger; and, Sonja herself.
Preparing to fly a close scouting pass over the stronghold Sonja climbed down from the pilot's deck of the airship. "Keep 'er steady at a bit o' remove from yon strong 'old whilst I 'ave a little peep!" she shouted to the Weasel.
"Best 'ave a care, Miss!" Miss Pannikin worried as her creator prepared to take wing.
Molly's art notes: Set up and rendered in Poser 12.0.1029 with some tweaking from Photoshop. The content include Sonja based on La Femme with modifications from Afrodite-Ohki. Clanks are Miss Pannikin by 1971s; Fat Bob by Simon3D; the Weasel by Jonnte. Sonja wears a steampunk jet pack also by Jonnte. The airship with our heroes is the work of 1971s and steam powered dirigible in the distance is from DAZ. Baron Von Reanimeister's stronghold is the Steampunk Hideaway found at DAZ. Other aspects of the setting are the work of Cybertenko and Flink. Support content creators! We use their products to give life to our dreams.

I/m guessing the baron is arrogant or staffed with those who find an encroaching airship no threat to his isolated stronghold. I'd have had the AAA on Sonja's ship by now. Wondering to whom the ship hard against the island belongs. I'm sure it's in the story...:)

The Baron is reclusive and probably arrogant. His defenses are not apparent as he wouldn't want to appear unseemly. It's already odd enough that most of his stronghold is under the waters of Steelhead Bay but for the two towers of basalt and the entrances and one glass-walled conservatory. XD
The impressive dirigible in the background is owned by Esther Irons who doesn't figure in current story of Lilja Darkstar. She's also something of a scoundrel and there is a series featuring her that I started and never finished over at DA. >.<
