Description

I've been a long time fan of Frank Frazetta, and one of the things I wanted to do when I started getting into 3D work, was re-create some of my favorite images of his using the 3D medium. That, and do new work that was solidly in the vein of great fantasy artist's like Frazetta, Boris, and so many others. A key element was the right kind of female character, and I spent a lot of time developing one I call "Leetah". I think I've captured all the physical elements most prevalent in Frazetta's women, and now it's time to turn Leetah loose and start chronicling her adventures. This piece was directly inspired by one of Frazetta's ink and pencil sketches; it's always been one of my absolute favorites of his work, as simple as it is. I just love the setting and the composition. And that WOMAN.
