Description

This is a short clip and is a redux composed of Poser animation and a real life ridealong. The original version was done a few years ago in Firefly and not left a lot to be desired. Poser 12 rendered animation is seen here which is a great improvement. There is some noise due to the low light settings and was not able to be removed with the denoiser enabled. Future Poser versions may solve this problem. The Dave's Diner scene background image is a view of Winnipeg from that spot. Dave's Diner isn't there. It's a fictitious place. Getting the Poser action to sync with the actual truck steering was time consuming and difficult when it was first done. The steering wheel movement is animation of the firetruck 3D model. The girls are in their turnout gear in this one. Headsets and Whelen remote control are my own models. Voices of Siobahn and Coco were made in Balabolka using Linda and Zira's voices from Microsoft. I guess you could say that is AI generated, but that's acceptable. Dispatcher voice is me with audio filtering. Flashing lights in the cab view were added in VSDC Editor. Air horns have been replaced with high power amplifiers and speakers on modern fire fighting equipment and are operated by a hand held remote attached to the Whelen control box. My version is a wireless one and a real version may be under development, but maybe not. Remotes have a tendency to disappear... Thanks for looking.

Awesome animation Den! The girls looked great and the head and hand movements for them were very realistic...great job in animating them inside the Fire truck. Her sneeze was a nice added touch...she may catching a cold. :-)

I watched the the original video and it looked nothing like this. I agree with JohnnyM. This is really well done. Adding computer generated voices to a hand crafted animation is okay by me. Again, this is great work with attention to detail.

Dang! This is GREAT! I'm surprised at how good the voices sound from a text-to-voice program! The sneeze was hilarious (what text prompt is used for that. >.> ). Are the streets and traffic seen out of the front of the firetruck all rendered? Amazing! 0.0

Thanks for sharing. I have barely dipped my toe into the animation pool. =)

No, the view from the truck is from an actual ridealong shot with a GoPro at 1080p. The truck cab view is Poser rendered and after many attempts I was able to get the action to sync with the video.
