Description
A scene created and rendered in DAZ studio , for some reason the dogs fur had white specks and lines in it despite a 6 hour Iray render with very high quality settings. My graphics card a geforce RTX 3060 with 12GB RAM normally chews through a DAZ render much faster and with out the artifacts. Running dust and scratch filter in photoshop improved things considerably and then run the history brush over the whole image apart from the dog made things much better. Thanks for taking time to have a look

Hmmm - had to be the assets. A 3060 should glide through the scene. The fibre based hair on DAZ dogs and cats can really slow things down, however, despite adjusting settings. I use Topaz Gigapixel to cut back on fireflies and artifacts. it's not free, but at cost/scene it's a must. They have another more specific product for Noise alone.

For the long render times: Maybe your GPU ran out of memory? I have a "RTX 3060 Ti" in my computer and I discovered, that, as soon as the scene grows too big to fit into the GPUs Memory (which can easily happen with that kind of scenes), then DAZ Studio does the whole rendering with the CPU alone, while the GPU is twiddling thumbs.
