Description

Hope you enjoy this. After modeling all those objects for "Duel of Ages" it's relaxing to just make a landscape or two :)

Looks like it has been modeled in five minutes, the waves and foam do not look real, the cliff looks more like a wall and the background however is superb...its a photography.

I love it when people give bad comments on your work, and when you go to check out their gallery, there is nothing in it, or they have just a few pieces of crap. Maybe if they actually tried drawing something they wouldn't be so quick to comment!. I know what goes into making these images and think this is very good work.

"its a photography. " LOL if your going to troll someone at least get it right. It's a photograph or it's photography one or the other. Hey gdouble it's just troll from alt.slack They're mad because I been giving their buddy legume a hard time for trying to rip off the AOY. They're harmless. It's a made up account just to troll me that's why there is no gallery. Dean and I got a good laugh out of it though :)

Thanks everybody :) You too Y-Axis. Hey you took the time to look at it. @ sabamn. No worries. A tip or two never hurt anybody. I was having a hard time finding a rock texture that wouldn't tile on the cliff. It acually extends back quite a ways but you can't see it once the lights and atmosphere is added. The water was one of the toughest things I ever textured. I worked on it almost all day and couldn't get anything that even looked like water. This was the best I could get. There are no maps to rez up. It's made with the hanrahan-krueger shader. It has 2 diffusion channels. I put a lighter blue/green on top and a dark purplish/blue under. white specular, falloff reflection, water for the bump, with just a touch of transpaerncy. All the white you see is specular from the light on the lightning. That light is turned up to 2. The light just killed every other texture I put on the water. The wave splashes were done in post.
