The image comparison of Firefly and Superfly dealing with chrome and reflections was deleted. Last week I found the coolest Steampunk sub at my favourite place. It was in fbx format and most pieces were individual objects after loading it into Blender except for the hatch at the top. I had to remodel it since it was way too big. There was no interior so I made a simple one and added a folding brass ladder. A ship's wheel prop was found that was also made steerable. I brought the model into Poser, applied the texture that came with the model then spawned the props. The original obj block was deleted. It was off to the Hierarchy Editor to change names and parent the pieces to one another. Next the moveable pieces needed their X, Y and Z origins adjusted for proper looking operation. After that an animation was made. This sub moves like a fish swims. Its three aft sections swing let to right, right to left and go up and down a few degrees. There are two propellers. One is under the body near the front. Both spin and the dive planes go up and down. Maybe I will post the 500 frame rendered version of it so you get the whole experience. :) All objects seen are characters or props. The only background image is the pic of the sky. Siobahn has Phil C's ( may he rest in peace ) cap on her head and sports the Mytilus Aviator Jacket. The pants are evilinnocence's Short Leggings.
