I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

I have never heard of such incompetence before! Missing the wrong side of the country and wrong corner as well! That takes more than several cakes in my book! Well, just my opinion here, but I'll bet it has a lot to do with Dejoy, that wonderful orange haired dip shit that appointed him and a lot of other totally incompetent boobs along the way that probably kissed somebody's you know what! Well, I hope that whatever your were sending can be duplicated and sent again. Maybe you should have your ladies deliver it in person this time? Sorry for all your troubles, Rod! I know your hear is in the right place!

I still can't figure out how the hell the dang thing ended up going to Miami... I mean it couldn't have been much farther from it's destination without becoming international mail..... π
ladylake
Nope, it doesn't end. Always something that takes the better part of a day to get straightened out. Thankfully only happens every few weeks. Just breathe deep, it will all get taken care of eventually.
RodS
I know.... It's nuts.... I'm thinking about going back to work just so I can get some rest...... π
starship64
Sadly, I'm not even surprised that a government agency is that incompetent.
mifdesign
You can't escape just going back to work to have some rest, it's way too easy..π
I just wonder why you still claim Florida is that far from the north-western coast, it's almost spanning a palm width on the screen, it can't be that far..πππ₯°
Ok, you had enough fun, now back to work..
Eventually burn the windows 7 image with Rufus on a stick and send it to Mike. You find rufus here: "https://rufus.ie/en/"
It can also be used to wipe any weird partitions windows can't handle, as well.
If Mike can handle linux, he can go even further and burn a mere 50 MB linux distro called DSL/damn small linux and use it to live boot his machine and access the internet to eventually download any windows iso image, burn it with rufus on a stick and use it to install windows 7 if that's his favourite flavour. Using his win 7 serial key, he can use it to activate a win 10 as well, instead of win 7. Win 10 is a better fit for 3D and it will run on most older machines. Just saying..
mifdesign
Ah sorry, don't forget to tell Mike to use an SSD, it will run faster than any HDD. He can eventually use the HDD for storage.
And tell him to never split the SSD into smaller partitions ever, that's absolutely useless to do such a thing.
mifdesign
For more advanced wiping tools while still having the option to live boot from an usb stick, is the ubcd/ultimate boot cd, so he could first wipe his older HDD, just to be sure it has no boot viruses and can later safely use the HDD for storage.
"https://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html" if he will boot it, he will have the option to start 'Parted MAgic' which will provide him with a linux interface, the tools to wipe the HDD, recovery tools, and it also provides access to the internet. You can go even nuts and manually chase and delete crazy trojans using that tool. This ubcd tool is optional but it provides more advanced tools to recover data if needed, as well. It only depends on how comfortable he feels with unixes distros and their flavours.

Thanks for the info, Marius! I'll check those links out. I don't think his computer would be able to use an SSD. It's a little older from what he's said.

A hallucinatory story RodS, not to believe ππ€ͺπ§ Right now I don't envy youππββοΈ
Wolfenshire Online Now!
I can't remember the last time I even saw a post office, let alone snail mail.
RodS
I just knew it..... You have one of those Star-Trek transporter thingies in your basement, don't ya? LOL
versluis
Oh that's why I got a Windows 7 DVD from you - I was wondering about that π
RodS
π€£π As weird as things around here have been lately, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if it ended up at your place, Jay! LOL

That's the wacky world of government for you. Unlike those of us in the private sector, they don't have to show results for their work.

Yeah i know the feeling of postal delivery. Had minor trouble with USPS but i got the big run around with UPS last year. I paid nearly 400.00 for something, never got it. My info from UPS said it was delivered at 9:40 AM on that day last year.
My neighbor had video evidence that proved UPS WAS NOT, there all day at my house or driving by.
Filed a loss of pkg. Got a huge runaround cause i did not show a copy of what i paid for. Tried agsin the rep said he would email me another claim where i did not need to show. Never got the mail. So i just threw up my mid finger and ssid oh well. Got screwed. Did not feel like trying again.
As for as your desk. Im glad i dont have as much as you. Kerp cool. And hope mike is doing well.
RodS
Damn.... For 400 bucks, I'd have been in a LOT of peoples' faces. I'd suggest making a full report to the state Attorney General in Colorado, and also whatever state it came from. If you have a printer / scanner print and scan everything! That's what I do - and that's why my desk looks like that! LOL
Mike's doing pretty good. He moved from the Treasure House some time ago, and it looks like a trailer park where he's living now. He's trying to get his computer loaded with Windows (the DVD I sent) so he can get back on line. He misses everyone.
fireangel
Delivery services that don't deliver are a serious annoyance! Somebody fire somebody, please!

Yes, my experience with retirement is that it's not unlike when I was working. Lots of frustrations and craziness, just a slightly different flavor. On the whole, I guess it's a good life, though. XD

Your desk looks neat to me! I wonβt show mine!

Retired or not...life just keeps messing with you regardless. Hang in there and keep moving forward :)

Don't worry about it, it's no better here either, many can neither read nor write, no matter how funny they are, they'll put a note in the 'right' mailbox for you: 'The customer couldn't be reached' - nonsense I'm always at home, the guy just couldn't find the right bell! ππ With you, however, these are large distances, our tiny Luxembourg (2,586 kmΒ²) is north-south: 82km long and east-west: 57km wide!!!!!

I love this much! .
