Description
According to Shinto folklore, humans and shapeshifter foxes have lived close together in ancient Japan, and that gave rise to the nine tailed foxes. The more tails a fox has, the older, the wiser, and the more powerful they are. Here's one with the full nine tails. Image composed with Stable Diffusion and Paintshop.

She does, right? It is said they are shapeshifters, so they can look like anything they want. That's how they have managed to have lived among humans for so long. It is said if we catch them by surprise and spook them, they may reveal their true form. However, nine tailed foxes are wise enough never to be caught. ^___^

Pretty amazing picture! So much detail. It interests me that there seems to be a bit of subsurface scattering in the fox ears. Wow. =)

Thanks Molly! Some AI models can produce SSS if we ask it to, but it depends a lot on the training material. ^___^
