Kokopelli is one of my favorite myths in Native American culture... Excerpt by By Nina Jay Kokopelli is featured as a hunchbacked flute player. The first images of Kokopelli appeared on Hohokam pottery over 1000 years ago. Kokopelli is a Native American Deity, revered by certain Native American groups in the Southwestern region of the United States. It’s a highly symbolic figure and is associated with fertility, music, merrymaking and good luck. Easter seems to me to be a perfect time for him to visit. Hope you enjoy my little friend, btw, I drew him with my mouse. This is a repost...Native Americans have a lot of myths, but there is always a truth/lesson associated with it...you only have to look to find it... Apo, PSP, Photofiltre (orig) The grass is Apo, the eggs I cut from other images and pasted into the grass...again I drew Kokopelli with my mouse and assembled all framed in Photofiltre

A beautiful and positive creation to celebrate Easter that refers to our childhood memories of collecting eggs in the early hours of Easter morning, to which you have added the mythological and religious reference of the divine and symbolic character of Kokopelli. Oh! I immediately recognized Kokopelli as I have travelled in Arizona and New Mexico. I like him very much and you had a good idea to associate him to Easter ! Wonderful artwork and composition! Congrats !
