Description

with all of the plants in this large pond or small lake, I would not go swimming here, unless I was trying to save someone from drowning. I imagine there are many snakes here. my son came close to dying from a highly poisonous snake bite while working. he was lucky he was not alone

It looks like such a perfect swimming hole, too, but yes, those underwater plants can grab you tight.

Might be good for fishing though.

Well that tree does not look like it needs any rain. Plenty of H2O, possibly to much water it might drown. lol Nice capture!

I wouldn't swim there either, but it's pretty to look at.

I'm glad to hear he was okay, though it wasn't great he gotten bitten in the first place! Beautiful photos by the way though I would agree with you - best not to swim there!

Lovely outdoor scene. I imagine that tree in the water must be feeling rather lonely. :) The equally lovely blue flowers in the second shot look like lavender to me.

A pity that beauty in Nature should often be accompanied by danger, as in snakes for example. Glad your son survived the snake bite!
