Description
It did not take long to arrive one deck lower.
He stared at the container as she explained what she had been doing.
"I must have accidentally triggered a sequence by remote with the scanner frequency," She reported, and then glanced up. "Vitals are starting to slowly increase."
"A sequence?" Navarre chuckled sarcastically with a shake of his head. "Okay. So how long?"
"Rough estimate at the moment. Still not certain as to what's inside, but, seven days." He thought for several moments. "Could simply attach an explosive charge and beam it off the ship once we leave the region."
"Captain!" She exclaimed in loud protest.
"Just a thought." Navarre shrugged his shoulders. "Okay. Secure the room and keep it isolated and under observation. I want a constant update on any changes or any new findings."
"Yes, Captain." She sighed with relief.
He turned and headed for the door.
"Time to hide for a while." He rubbed his forehead thoughtfully. "Explosives would solve this issue thought."
"Captain!" She called out again in disbelief.
