Except the stack of two near the end of course, although that may have been a very precarious stack and Wombo was a bit late. I think the books are a clue to how the specific Wombo style learnt what a stack was. Could explain the rather non-pebbly colours and the fact that the pebbles are all the same sort of shape - a book with the edges rounded off.
