Great simple shot of the humble dandelion. (Botanically speaking, there is no such thing or classification as a "weed"). Just plants that humans decided they don't like or want on their property. I could be wrong, just read that somewhere. 🙄

A beautiful shot here, Richard. When you take time to stop and really look at nature's wonders, it really can be amazing. Just the idea that over time a simple weed can work out how to preserve itself with wind-borne flight. It's truly mind boggling.

Some cultures still use it as roughage and medicals. Young shoots only. It's Toxic otherwise.

Learned to love dandelions, their tenaciousness, bright colours signaling spring, and transformation into seed pods. Great detailed photo and framing BTW.
