Hey all, Theme : Fantasy / Elves (!) / Oriental (?) Unbeknownst to many, there was an elven kingdom called Yuviel in which 'oriental' elves lived. Visitors were indeed rare, and the elves were understandably easily startled on discovering a stranger, but still gracious and polite. I manage to corner one, who after some earnest effort on my part, revealed her name as Meiwen, and shared the following tidbit : "Yuviel means," she paused, drumming her chins while looking for the right word, "well loosely it means 'Jade Daughters or Maidens'. It comes from the word Yu, meaning jade, and Viel, which means daughters or maidens. We like to think it means a realm of jade, or green," she gestured elegantly around, indicating the lush green forests, "..beauty and elven maidens."
