Description

Just thought I'd share a typical spring storm from the Midwest. I shot this years ago over the lake. (Lake Michigan.) We get some major storms in May...these storms burst and then it's beautiful out...uncanny... I'm sorry I've been absent so long...I had a series of health issues that collided at once. Any one of them wasn't a problem, but all of them at the same time were. So I've rested, acdg to orders. I'm 74, things do happen. I'll heal, I just need some more time... I've seen everything you've all posted, but I found it difficult to comment---for which I apologize. I hope to start commenting again this spring. I did, however, plan to come back to just post dedis, but I need to wait longer for that too. I'm sorry to all of you that I've been absent, but I hope to be back soon. I just wanted to say "hey!" and send my love, and wish you all the very best. I hope the rest of the spring is sweet to you all, and that your struggles get easier (I know some of you are going through a lot). To those of you with May birthdays---among my fans, Barb (bakapo), Lynn (ShadowsNTime) and Steve (eekdog)---a happy day and year to all of you! (If I left anyone out, tell me and I'll add you to my list.) I'll celebrate when I return, which I hope is soon. And to everyone, lots of love, light and wishes for inspiration, wholeness and a great May! I hope you're all well, mark (Lake Michigan, around 12 years ago...) ------------------

Hi, Mark, it's good to see you post. Wow, this is one amazing cloud; so large and so close to the ground/water. The darkness that it's spreading is both beautiful and terrifying, especially with the brighter sky surrounding it. The contrast is stunning. This is an awesome photo!

Don't worry about a birthday dedi, I would rather you rest and get well. Thanks for mention, that's more than enough. Take care! (((hugs)))

OMG!!! HOW did I miss this???

As always, a beautiful photo of that little pond you live close to!

You have definitely been missed, Mark! And you just gave me a hellofan idea for a T-shirt design... It would say in large lettering "Shit Happens" then in smaller letters below, it would say "I'm 74.." LOL I'm up there with ya, buddy!

Hope you're feeling better and better every day - you deserve to feel at least 1000% better. It does suck when those ailments all gang up on you. But you can at least take comfort in that you're not the one to mess with without backup! LOL

It's been an effing 3-ring circus here lately, but maybe things are swinging to the positive again. I just declared "victory" today after a 3-month battle with Crapcast. And we're hoping to move out of here at some point in the near future.

Anyway, it's good to see a post from you, Mark! Stay strong, buddy, and I hope you feel much much better very, very soon! 👍👍

I'm so glad to hear from you. I was starting to think the worst... you know, the "D' word... DRAGONS!!! I was certain you were abducted by dragons and carried off to that place on the map where dragons be. Get well, take care, and remember, keep a chocolate bar in your pocket at all times. Dragons can be appeased with a chocolate bar... and Skittles, they like Skittles.

OMG I am so glad you posted again! I know you need your rest but I do worry when you are gone so long, I do hope you are feeling some better! This reminds me of when I lived in Fenton Michigan for about a year...not great memories of that time but imagine the horror I felt at the tornado that popped up while I was there, the only one I was ever in (they are very scarce in Washington state) I was a new mom and was scared to death...left soon after to return to Wash. and vowed to never return to Michigan! Great image Mark, thinking of you!

An ominous image, but an incredibly beautiful image.
