Hi Molly, your fantasy artworks are somtimes so twisted and well done, I have trouble categorizing all of this correctly, I could read your text, but to be honest I'm too lazy for that, but it's something to think about for yourself, isn't it? Have a nice 1st of May!👍

Thank you for looking, Ute. I don't mind if you don't read the text and I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures enough to comment. =)

Very imaginative and excellent images! I'm not sure what is happening here but the effects look great! Bravo!
MollyFootman
Heh. Well the text tells the story. In short, Sirena and Julieta have come upon an imprisoned being that has the ability to influence minds and is attempting to get Sirena to set it free; Space Queen indicates that would be a bad idea. XD Viewing the pictures from left to right, keeping the text in mind would be the way to do it.
This was an experiment with trying sequential story-telling using the multi-upload feature. Probably not the best way to go. Little bite sized story bits and one image at a time is likely more manageable for those that follow my craziness. ;-P

Splendid set of characters! Like the story.

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it and this format worked for you a bit. It's a hedge between a series of single images and story chunks and the work involved in creating a graphic novel/comic book style page. As an illustrator of stories (good or not so much, you get to decide XD ) I'm always experimenting with narrative and imagery. I really appreciate hearing from you regarding what you like and what you think works! <3

Or rather slow witted idiots such as myself. Thanks for the explanation, Molly! Now we are on the same page again or stretch of highway. LOL.
MollyFootman
Heh. Being in more or less the same vicinity works for me, my dear! XD It's a hedge between single images and doing the work of creating a graphic novel page. I always enjoy hearing from you about such things! <3

Wow this is great work. Your scenes look as they're rendered in Daz. I love the effects as they sell the mood and story.
MollyFootman
Thank you! The effects were all accomplished within Poser with props and materials. =D I think it may be easier to get good results in DAZ Studio for people with little experience; but, if you know what you're doing, Poser can yield excellent, possibly superior results as I know you probably agree. As for me, I feel like I'm still figuring out how to do things and like you, I enjoy sharing how powerful my chosen tool is. ;-)
As for this series, I set up the scene once and moved the camera around for the various images. I think users of Poser and DAZ Studio tend to be too bound by initial camera positions and should experiment with different PoV. =P
It's always a pleasure to hear from you and I always enjoy seeing what you're up to. =)

Wonderfully original and creative scene.
MollyFootman
Thank you, Mazzam. I had a ball moving my camera around in the scene for the various images. =)

I like the multi image storyline. Maybe mention the multiness (is that a word?) In the title or first line so we know to scroll? It's hard to see on phones. I like the effects in these, your story is a good one, and the characters are cool.
MollyFootman
Thanks, Barb. I hadn't ever considered how it must be trying to look at things like this on a phone! |>.<|
These are fun characters to be sure. I've done a few other pictures with Julieta Rayner and her Loik friends visiting with Space Queen. Sirena Starstriker featured in some things I've done at Deviant Art and is in at least one other picture here at Renderosity. The story? Well, maybe we'll run with it a bit more and maybe not. Today I was working on the next image for the Lilja Darkstar steampunk epic. =)

what a delightful, imaginative scene! Super cool!
MollyFootman
Thank you. I enjoyed setting it up and then moving myi PoV around for the five images. The "don't open it" story line is pretty simple so I hoped the images would be interesting. =)

You really develop great stories and art. Love all the cool elements in this render. 😎
MollyFootman
Thank you! I had a great time moving the camera around in the scene to tell the story. =)

A really magnificent set of panels here, Molly! You do excellent work, my friend - on the art and the writing. Speaking of which, I need to get my butt busy on some writing.. I'll be back soon.
MollyFootman
Thank you, Rod. I always look forward to your posts both images and text so I hope you will find the time you need! =)

Really fun stuff with details you have to take time to process. That's a good thing!

Thanks, JD. I love these retro sci fi costumes and spaceships almost as much as I loves me some Steampunk. =D
