Description

Probably one of the darker episodes of Star Trek's original series; Kirk and Crew beam over to a dimensionally unstable star ship where they find the crew dead- the captain of the Defiant literally having his throat cut by his own first oficer It seems the crew turned on each other in a murderous frenzy. Worse then that, the ship is slipping into another dimension, fading into another universe.... I think this episode touchs on themes expanded on by films such as Event Horizon and other cosmic horror type existential unease. Anyway what do you think?

I would have to agree that the episode might have inspired the Sci Fi tropes you mention. There's tons of that in ST:TOS. =)

Your images are probably better visually than those of the TV series which was pretty primitive. ;-)
