God Rays for my dear friends - a Poser 12 Superfly render for my dear friends.😊💖🥰
I've just found Summoner65's on Sharecg gem so I gave it a spin, my way.😊
There are no lights, just the hdr image provides the light that passes through the windows.
Plain render, no tricks; using my volumetric shader and the camera here is within the volumetric, if it matters.
My own custom render settings I used for this one.
I could do a finer render but this one took 1 hour and 40 minutes though.
No postwork, never ever.

Great "God Rays", to be sure. I've never been able to find a shader that gives that sharp a result on the rays. It's something I'll keep experimenting with as you show it can be done! =)

In may this year, nvidia said they use sparse light probes structures to augment and fix some painful aspects of computing light paths (this is my interpretation and my understanding may be totally wrong, though..). My approach is slightly different, though.😂 I was smiling when they also mentioned caustics is still a PIA in 2023..😂😂😂 (https://www.renderosity.com/gallery/items/3042554/just-a-proof-of-concept-3 true caustics means no masks, no tricks, not to mention in that render I didn't enable caustics algorithm that would have tremendously improved the effects..) . I'd probably shouldn't mention iray, cycles, superfly and firefly, renderman use lots of well-known flavours..😊 I didn't say bi-directional path tracing is easy..😂
