Description
The terrain was self made and given a material from "High Resolution Terrains 3". The sunrays are from "Environments - Inclement Weather" (both available at Daz 3D) and the clouds from "Object Clouds 2D & 3D" (available at bryce-tutorials). The ambient light by the "Simplon" HDRI (comes with Bryce 7.1) and a bit of light by the sun. A cross of narrow gorges with few sunshine.

Fantastic scene. It looks quite a hostile place to find oneself.
Not so sure of the sun-rays - they have a sort of afterthought postwork feel to them. Perhaps a lens-flare would work a little better.
Hope you don't mind my reservations. :-)

Thank you Staticon. The sun-rays were made with a cone and a material on it - one may like it or not ... No postwork. Lens-flare, I see what you mean. Photoshop and such lens-flares are not realistic. I hate when I get flares through the lens when taking photos and they look not at all nice. Depends on the quality of the lens, of course. The better (usually more expensive) the lens, the less offending flares it produces when pointed to a low sun. And no, I certainly don't mind your reservations. Comments are welcome, I may learn something, that's why I publish my renders in the first place.
