Very cool images! I like the first one with regard to the spectral bloom but not quite as much with the lens flare. Overall, though, I think it is the superior image and the idea and execution of these images is really fun to look at. It has for me, the look of a science fiction book cover. If it were used that way, it's eye catching enough to sell some books, for sure! =)

Thanks, funny you should say that. My art has always been inspired from the novel illustrator Michael Whelan. I remember going to the mall and just blown away by his work at B. Dalton books. Great memories from back in the 80's.
